FAQ-ICE TUB
How sturdy is the ice bath?
It is made from the same material that paddle boards and inflatable boats are made from so it is very durable.
Does the PRO bath come with the chiller unit?
The Recovery Pro 300/400 does not include the chiller/heater unit, You will need to purchase this unit separately.
What is the recommended water temperature?
We recommend starting out at around 59°F (15°C) if it's your first time, and then slowly lowering the temperature and duration for each session. That way your body will get acclimated to the cold.
How often should I use an ice bath?
That depends on your own goals, some people use them every day while others use them 2-3 times per week. A lot of our customers love doing them first thing in the morning to wake them up, increase energy and feel good for the day.
How often should I change the water?
Once every 2 weeks. We recommend washing the inside surfaces with warm soapy water or mild disinfectant after you drain it.
