FAQ
KAYAK
How does the performance of an inflatable kayak compare to a traditional hard-shell kayak?
Answer
Are inflatable kayaks suitable for beginners?
Yes, inflatable kayaks are often recommended for beginners due to their stability, ease of use, and portability. They are a great option for those who want to explore kayaking without the need for a rigid kayak or extensive storage space. It's always a good idea for beginners to start in calm waters and gradually progress to more challenging conditions.
What is the difference between your PVC Tarpaulin Kayak and Drop Stitch Kayak?
The main difference lies in their construction and resulting features. The PVC Tarpaulin Kayak (e.g., ADVENTUREX) features a drop stitch chamber solely in the bottom portion, making it lighter in weight and more cost-efficient. On the other hand, the Drop Stitch Kayak (e.g., EXPLORER and VINTAGE) utilizes drop stitch chambers for both the sides and the bottom, offering enhanced strength, durability, and higher weight capacity.
How should I choose an inflatable kayak?
When choosing between the two, consider the following factors:
- Intended Use: If you plan to use the kayak primarily for recreational purposes in calm waters, the PVC Tarpaulin Kayak with Drop Stitch Bottom may be a good choice due to its lighter weight and cost-effectiveness.
- Durability and Capacity: If you anticipate more challenging water conditions, require a higher weight capacity, or desire increased durability for extended use, the Drop Stitch Kayak would be a preferable option with its reinforced body and bottom construction.
- Number of Users: Consider the number of people you will be carrying. The PVC Tarpaulin Kayak is available in the ADVENTUREX model, designed as a two-person tandem kayak. The Drop Stitch Kayak comes in two models: the EXPLORER, a two-person tandem kayak, and the VINTAGE, a three-person triple kayak.
Ultimately, your choice should align with your specific needs, budget, intended use, and desired durability. If you prioritize affordability and lighter weight, the PVC Tarpaulin Kayak with Drop Stitch Bottom (ADVENTUREX) would be suitable. If you seek enhanced durability, strength, and capacity, the Drop Stitch Kayak (EXPLORER or VINTAGE) would be the better option.
Can I use these inflatable kayaks in different types of water conditions?
Yes, all BEYOND MARINA kayaks are versatile and suitable for a variety of water conditions, including calm lakes, rivers and coastal waters. However, it's important to always consider the specific kayak's design and stability for the intended use.

CHILLER
Can the chiller be used outdoors?
Yes, it can be used both indoors and outdoors. However, please note the operating temperature range for the chiller: the 1 HP model is recommended to operate between 0-45°C, and the 0.5 HP model is recommended to operate between 2-45°C.
How noisy is the chiller during operation?
The 0.5 HP chiller operates at less than 49 dB(A), and 1 HP Ice Bath Chiller operates at less than 65 dB(A).
Is this chiller universal for all ice bath tubs?
The chiller works with most standard ice bath tubs. The 0.5 HP chiller is recommended to pair it with tubs up to 80 gallons (303 liters), and the 1 HP chiller is recommended to pair it with tubs up to 115 gallons (435 liters).
What temperature can the chiller reach, and how long does it take?
The 1 HP chiller can heat water up to 107.6°F (42°C) and cool it down to 37.4°F (3°C), while the 0.5 HP model is cooling-only and can cool water down to 37.4°F (3°C). The 1 HP model can cool 53 gallons of water from 73.4°F (23°C) to 41°F (5°C) in just 2.7 hours, and the 0.5 HP model can chill 66 gallons from 91.4°F (33°C) down to 41°F (5°C) in about 4.5 hours. Cooling and heating times vary depending on water volume, starting temperature, and ambient conditions.
Is the chiller controlled by Apps?
Yes, the chiller can be controlled via a mobile app with WiFi connectivity. This allows remote management through a dedicated smartphone app, offering these key benefits:
- Remote adjustments: Change settings like temperature from anywhere with internet.
- Real-time monitoring: Track performance and water temperature.
- Scheduling: Set timers for automated operation.
This app control adds convenience, letting you maintain ideal conditions without being near the device. For your specific model, please check the product specs.
What if the app or WiFi connection fails?
Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network—the chiller cannot connect to 5GHz. If confirmed, try restarting the chiller, your WiFi router, and the app. If the issue persists, please contact customer support.
How often should I clean the filter of the chiller?
It depends on usage frequency. If used daily, it's recommended to clean it at least once a week. If used once a week, it's recommended to clean it once a month.
How often should I replace the filter of the chiller?
Replace it whenever it looks dirty or clogged. With daily use, replacement is generally required every 2 months.
What should I do if the chiller shows E11 or E12 error?
This error occurs due to insufficient water flow. For detailed steps, please refer to: https://youtube.com/shorts/aBBCJPOWlhs
What should I do if the display panel falls off?
ICE TUB
How often should I use an ice bath?
That depends on your own goals, some people use them every day while others use them 2-3 times per week.
What is the recommended water temperature?
We recommend starting out at around 59°F (15°C) if it's your first time, and then slowly lowering the temperature and duration for each session.
How often should I change the water in the ice tub?
Once every 2 weeks. We recommend washing the inside surfaces with warm soapy water or mild disinfectant after you drain it.

EFOIL
What is an eFoil?
An eFoil, short for electric hydrofoil, is a type of watercraft that uses an electric motor to power a hydrofoil, enabling it to glide above the water's surface. It provides a unique and exciting riding experience.
How does an eFoil work?
An eFoil works by utilizing an electric motor mounted on a hydrofoil board. The motor drives a propeller or jet underwater, creating thrust that lifts the board and rider out of the water. The hydrofoil design reduces drag and allows for a smooth and efficient ride.
Is it difficult to ride an eFoil?
While eFoiling requires some practice, it is relatively easy to learn. Most eFoil models come with intuitive controls and stability features that make them accessible to riders of all skill levels. With a little practice, you can quickly get the hang of riding an eFoil.
Can I ride an eFoil in any body of water?
eFoils can be ridden in many types of water, including lakes, rivers and oceans. However, it's important to check local regulations, permits, and any restrictions that may be in place. Always ride in designated areas and be aware of other water users.
Is eFoiling safe?
When practiced responsibly and with the necessary precautions, eFoiling is considered a safe water activity. However, as with any water sport, there are inherent risks. It's important to wear appropriate safety gear, receive proper training and be aware of your surroundings.
What are the features of the BEYOND MARINA AETHEZEN eFoil waterproof remote control?
The eFoil includes a waterproof remote control with several beneficial features. These include
